Higher education becomes more and more popular from thirteen to fourteen centuries. The first time when the noun of “Higher Education” appeared was from the guild which had special skills.
The specialties of the higher education are to practice to think alone, to collect information, and to foster the abilities to study on learners’ own. In the middle ages of Europe, the university was combined schools with guilds. In the eleven teen centuries, the name of university in the first time was called “Guild”, which was similar to the noun of the “University”. In the thirteen centuries, the noun called “Guild” was replaced to “University” and the noun that unified was called “University”, meaning the group of students.
The difference between Higher Education and Compulsory Education is that the Higher Education including analyzed in depth, studying in a deep-going way, and making a deep thorough investigation and study. The specialty of Higher Education is to foster the professional skills. However, the feature of Compulsory Education is to help people to realize the basis of general elementary knowledge, such as the elementary knowledge of hygiene and sanitation or common sense. It is convenience for human beings to read the basis knowledge cursorily and then to draw inspiration from catholic tastes.
As a result, the cause of the three things including practicing to think alone, collecting information, and fostering the abilities to study on learners’ own is important. Because of the three elements, people can become the total men through the Higher Education.
