PC or NB

　　Nowadays people use computers frequently. They use computers to do everything including doing homework, working, watching movies and going shopping. But there is a problem about how to choose computers. By the way, there are two kinds of computers, one is called PC, and the other is called NB. “PC” is the abbreviation of “Personal Computer”; however, “NB” is the abbreviation of “Note-Book”.
　　There are three parts of difference between PC and NB. The first one is money difference. For the common says, it needs to pay more money in order to buy NB than PC. Although there is lest computer memory NB has, there is more convenient to carry a NB. Therefore, NB has many kinds of colors, such as purple, pink, or white. However, PC not only has the same modeling but also cannot move on.
　　The second different part between PC and NB is electric consumption. NB is easier to consume its electrician than PC. In contrast, using PC can maintain its power; however, using NB cannot keep up its energy because user may carry NB to everywhere that it cannot charge up the battery at all times.　　
　　The last difference between PC and NB is the size of screen. PC usually has wide and large screen. On the contrary, NB frequently has small screen in common size. If user wants to have better view in order to watching movies, PC is the better choice rather than NB.
　　In my opinion, I prefer to choose NB rather than PC. Because using NB is easier to clean up. On the contrary, using PC is more difficult to clean up because there are many electric wires at the back of PC. Besides, I like to design the modeling of NB. I can choose whatever I like. It is my main reason why choosing NB is better than PC. (309 words.)

One day when I walked into the garden, I saw a noisy dog running out of a small boy. The dog with black skin and large teeth was yard with the crying boy. The boy cried loudly and didn’t know how to do except running quickly continually. After one minute later, a strong man appeared. He walked into the cruel dog then he beat its head. Love

　　The process of our growing is love and bread. The meaning of love is family. When we were children, our parents worked hard in order to earn much money that we children can have better lives. Besides, the meaning of bread is career. Every adult has his own job. There are many kinds of job in the world. People always work hard in order to take care of their family and children.
　　It is essential of keeping balance between love (family) and bread (career). Some people live in a dreamlike world; their attitude is that they can live without bread. For example, there are many adults whose ages are over twenty-five but they still don't have any ability of working even a part-time job. They just know how to study hard and get a great grade. The result is that kind of people will be a geek. However, other people just know how to make money but they don’t know how to take care of their families. For a long time, the relationship of them will be strange.
　　As a result, love is to breathe what water is to fish. Everyone feels kindness because he has love in his mind. The most important is that lots of love will make world-peace.

Dream

　　In 1936, Richard Bach said “You are never given a dream without also being given the power to make it true. You may have to work for it, however. ” Everyone has his own dream in his mind. The younger the children are, the larger imagination they have. They also dream if they can be a president, professor, or an FBI. Whether the dream can be accomplished or not, they still do their best in order to achieve their dreams.
　　When I was a child, I always dreamed to be a super model or a fashion designer. Because of my natural gift of drawing and designing clothes, I am very proud of myself. Many clothes the famous designer designed in TV show are similar to mine. However, I gradually thought about that was just my habit. I need to find another dream I want to accomplish and that can be my career. The second dream I dreamed was to be a medical doctor. It seems so great. If I can be a doctor, my family cannot only be proud of me but also I can earn much money. Soon after the dream I know I won’t come true not only because my major is English but also because I have no talent in being a doctor. The importance of all, I am not a person who has a lot of patience in studying and researching hard for a long time.
　　Everyone has his own dream but he needs to dream step by step. For me, I will never seize with remorse about I cannot be a doctor or designer. Now, I am very glad to my choosing is English.

(week7) Eat in or eat out

　　Nowadays, people prefer to eat at restaurants rather than eating at home. For me, I like to eat at home not only because it is convenient and healthier but also because I can have many choices having different types. Besides, I can relax and enjoy the delicious food at home then I can hear the song or watch movies.
　　Although eating in the restaurant has keen enjoyment for people, it also needs to pay more money than eating at home. For example, when I have lunch at restaurant, the payment I usually pay is over hundred dollars. Plus, if I want to have a cake, I need to pay fifty dollars added. Therefore, eating at the restaurant I couldn’t do anything unseemly, such as sitting cross-legged on a chair.
Eating at home is better for everyone’s health, too. Meals at restaurant are usually high in fat and more oil used, and then people are easily to eat more calories in bodies. However, when people cook at home, it is easy to control what they eat. People also can cook with low-fat food and use less oil in cooking. In addition, restaurants always prepare meals of common size. If customers don’t like the meals that restaurants assort and arrange in pairs, they will feel unhappy when eating. Even though the meal with a big hamburger and large coke is for a little girl and she can’t eat it out totally, she still pays the same price while eating at home people can serve meal as little as they want.
It seems like eating in the restaurant is better because there is a romance atmosphere in restaurant when people eat the delicious food and they don’t need to shop, cook, and clean up. All they need to do is eating; actually, the other one movement they need to do is to obey the roles of restaurants such as notice said that forbidden smoking in public occasions or prohibited bringing your pet in restaurants. However, eating at home people can not only be relaxed and enjoyed the delicious food but also can share that food for their lovely pets. It seems like the true enjoyment.
People often prefer to eat in the restaurant rather than cooking at home because they think it is more convenient and takes less time to prepare. In fact, cooking at home is easier, better and healthier than eating in the restaurant.

(week6) Cell phones

　　Nowadays, cell phones are useful for people who always stay outside. There are varieties of functions for that kinds of people. The three aspects are to connect with family and friends no matter where they go, to be a computer, and to be convenient to take because of the short sizes of cell phones.
　　First of all, people who always stay outside might have difficulty to connect with family and friends without cell phones because they don’t know where their family and friends go. Although they can write letter or sent E-mail, but it still has lots of time to wait for. For example, there has a problem for young kids who always stay outside for a long time even they don’t go home without calling to their parents before. The behavior let their parents feel worry because they don’t know where their kids go.

　　Second, owing to the advance of science and technology, there are more and more new products created such as cell phones with many functions. Modern cell phones are like computers. For example, traditional cell phones just can cell to other people and the sizes of the cell phones are normal bigger than bananas. The outward appearances of them are neither beautiful nor functional. Due to the change of technique process, modern cell phones have functions of camera, GPS system, watching TV in cell phones, and can connect with Internet including sending mails, looking for the new words and songs.
　　Third, cell phones are convenient to take nowadays because of the short sizes and appearances. There are colorful cell phones created. People can choose what colors do they like. They don’t worry about the series of cell phones just have one color such as black. They have many choices in order to have the unique types.
　　As a result, cell phones have high position in both domestic and foreign markets. Nowadays, people can’t live without cell phones gradually. Thinking about this, people need to worry about having less time to do everything without using cell phones. For instance, if they need to rise to the emergency, they need to help. The fastest way to them is to cell other people including 110 or 119. Moreover, using cell phones always take less time than other technological products. Therefore, cell phones are to human beings what waters are to fish.

(week5)Higher Education

　　Higher education becomes more and more popular from thirteen to fourteen centuries. The first time when the noun of “Higher Education” appeared was from the guild which had special skills.
　　The specialties of the higher education are to practice to think alone, to collect information, and to foster the abilities to study on learners’ own. In the middle ages of Europe, the university was combined schools with guilds. In the eleven teen centuries, the name of university in the first time was called “Guild”, which was similar to the noun of the “University”. In the thirteen centuries, the noun called “Guild” was replaced to “University” and the noun that unified was called “University”, meaning the group of students.
　　The difference between Higher Education and Compulsory Education is that the Higher Education including analyzed in depth, studying in a deep-going way, and making a deep thorough investigation and study. The specialty of Higher Education is to foster the professional skills. However, the feature of Compulsory Education is to help people to realize the basis of general elementary knowledge, such as the elementary knowledge of hygiene and sanitation or common sense. It is convenience for human beings to read the basis knowledge cursorily and then to draw inspiration from catholic tastes.
　　As a result, the cause of the three things including practicing to think alone, collecting information, and fostering the abilities to study on learners’ own is important. Because of the three elements, people can become the total men through the Higher Education.

(week4)Learn to write English well.

　　There are more problems in writing English well. People usually have common questions such as the verb of using in sentence. They do not know how to use correct grammars to write English. Learning to write is like riding bicycle. You don’t learn to write at the same speed. How fast you write often depends upon your reason for learning. Sometimes you write slowly and carefully. You do this when you study. You also write slowly when you are following a set of directions.
　　There are some topics help you to write English well: First, concentrate on your learning. The best way to prove on your writing is to write and read the variety of books in order to evoke your imagination. Second, you need to focus on using grammars. The way is like to play the piano. If you want to have the wonderful basis, you should practice steadily. The last thing but not least is to remember that the most difficulty is not to do it. Everything is difficult at the start. If you usually give up at first, you always will be a loser.

　　The story of " The Story of an Hour" is written by Robert Frost. Initially Mrs. Mallard was sad about her husband was dead. When she in the room alone, she felt free in the marriage after her husband was dead. Maybe she was tired about this marriage. When she was fascinated in this happy feeling, her husband was coming. He wasn't dead in the accident. Finally Mrs. Mallard was dead of heart disease. She had mental state originally but was dead of heart disease. Mrs. Mallard was dead soon after hearing her husbaheard has not died. (97 words.)

(Week1) Self-Introduction

　　Today I want to introduce myself. My name is Quimmy. I am the trans student this year. My hobbits are playing the volleyball and art designed. I have an amiable disposition and I am concerned with people. I know the importance of listening to the opinions of people and like to help them. Besides, I like sport and enjoy the time I practiced. I have tended to the volleyball team of department of English Language for a month.
　　I am very glad to enter the Providence University. In this campus, I know I should do my utmost for everything including my studies and volleyball team, even the part-time work. My dream is to be a philologist. I want to research on the psycholinguistics. In order to be a philologist, I should improve on my abilities of specialties and be strict with myself. (142 words.)
